I don't own an old ladder, but after looking at these pictures, I sure wish I did!

Jaime Derringer posted these clever ideas to bring an old kept-in-the-storage ladder to new heights. To the left, you can see a mild steel one used as a bookshelf and a timber one used as a towel rack. These two DIYs are very easy to do. Just paint and lean it against the wall. Only issue would be keeping it secure. That will require a drill and some screws.
For more of a challenge, to the right is a ladder used as a cool pot and pan hanging unit for the kitchen. Of course I wouldn't advise you to do this on your own, this DIY looks more like DIT (do it together) job. Click here to read the steps on how to create this awesome Pot Rack.
You can also repurpose the ladder in your garden, you can use it to put your herbs and flower pots on, it'll be like a gardening tool station! Another solution would be as a coat and bag rack. Of course I think in this country, it'll be more of a bag and rain coat rack. Still, all great and relatively easy DIYs to do. So try them out and send a picture my way!
Happy DIY'ing!
