DIY * Fabric Printing

Fabric Printing

Karina from Maple Ash & Oak posted (on Poppy Talk) a great DIY technique for printing bold prints on fabric. Now, I have always been fascinated with fabric printing, but shied away because of the amount of work it takes (screen printing, squeegees, emulsion, etc) but the method here seems pretty easy. Of course, you're going to need to make a trip to an arts and craft store, so try Art Friend in Gardens Midvalley or Craft Haven in 1 Utama for paint and some tools. You can reuse some old fabric or purchase new ones at a fabric store. As for foam, you can either use a kitchen sponge (not as effective) or check the craft shops if they have any in stock, worst case, head to an upholstery wholesale store (click here for one) to find some. Happy Printing!
